Milka's story

Milka Paulina, who is 24 years old, is a hard-working woman and determined to succeed. She is separated from the father of her two beautiful children, who she loves a lot. She lives comfortably in her own home. The activity performed by Milka Paulina is the sale of clothing for women, men, and children, which she buys in the city of Lima making periodic trips to make the purchase of her merchandise. Then, she sells it from her home and as a street peddler to her neighbors and friends. She attends them very well, so they recommend her to other people who later become regular customers.

She has worked in this business for seven years, doing it alone. She states her business is quite profitable because she manages to sell all the clothes she brings, achieving great profits. She likes her business because it became her job and also let her know the business very well. That gives her facilities to manage her sales achieving a significant quantity of monthly sales. As a result, she can give a better quality of life to her children.

For this reason, she has plans about opening a shop selling clothes, so she doesn't have to walk a lot looking for customers. This is her loan number two with the MFP institution. She expects some collaboration, so she can make her plans concrete. Also, she says she feels very good with her communal bank because she considers its members responsible and supportive people.

With the requested amount of 1,000 nuevos soles, she will invest in the purchase of more clothes of various designs at a wholesale price. She is looking for lower prices due to her purchases in cash and in volume from the capital.
