A loan of $1,750 helped a member to purchase clothing for sale.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

Mujeres unidas are in their third (lending) cycle thanks to their joint team effort.

They are female family heads who wish to help their children have better living conditions than they had.

One of the group members is Rosalina who has five children and is married to Heriberto. She has been making a living by selling clothes for many years now. Rosalina says that the loan they are asking for from Fundación and Kica will be used to purchase clothing to sell to their customers. She is very grateful because she will be able to increase her and her family’s income thanks to the loan.

In this group: Ana Celia, Rosalina, Damiana, Carina, Celia, Lorenza, Josefa, Selvia, Mercedes, Carmen, Eugenia, Carmen, Estela
