Moreen's story

Moreen, 32, is the mother of three children. She is married and lives at west point. Her children are between the ages of 4 and 16. Her husband is a businessman and he helped her with the initial capital to start her business.

Moreen has been selling coal at retail prices in the community market for the past six years. One challenge she faces is the low volume of sales during the raining season. She loves working in this business because she makes a profit. With the profit she generates, she can buy coal bags and resell them by retail and also contribute to covering her family's expenses.
