A loan of $300 helped to buy feed for chickens and pigs.

Mirna Lissette's story

Mirna, 19, lives with her husband and three-year-old daughter. She works raising pigs and chickens and helps her husband cover household expenses this way. She’s been in business two years having started alongside her husband as a business for both of them.

She needs to buy feed for the pigs and the chickens. This will help her invest the loan in these needs in her farm; the loan will be a large help in strengthening her farm animals’ nutrition and so that she will have everything she needs on hand. Her goal is to improve her economic situation, to gradually grow with the farm so that it will yield them better conditions in the face of household obligations and provide a better life for her daughter.
