Ra is 32 years old, married, and has four children. He lives with his family in Takeo Province, Cambodia. He has been selling mats, hammocks, quilts, carpets, and mosquito nets for more than ten years, earning approximately $7 per day. His wife is a tailor who earns about $2 each day.
In order to improve his family’s finances, Ra is requesting a loan of $1,000 USD to raise capital for his business to purchase more mats, hammocks, quilts, carpets and mosquito nets to sell. This money will help him expand his business and earn more profit. In the future, he would like to use the profit to expand his business and help his children earn their bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, he hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
