Janet Norma's story

Janet is a young woman 24 years old. She's married and with her husband has a young child, age 2, whom she loves a lot. Above all, he's her reason for living and her goal for getting ahead every day to be able to give him a decent live with a lot of love.

Janet is very hardworking, and with a lot of effort she managed to start her business selling clothing three years ago. She can serve up to 15 customers a day, and with the fruit of her work she can help her husband with the household expenses and be able to get her young child ahead. She believes it's going well for her in her business because she's very friendly with the customers and especially because she has a great desire to get ahead.

Janet is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because thanks to their help she'll be able to buy merchandise for her business, such as jeans, track suits, shirts, and t-shirts, among other things.

This way she'll be able to have a greater variety of products and improve her income, which will allow her to continue to fight every day to make her biggest dream come true: "To give her son a good education and to be able to give him a better quality of life."
