A loan of $525 helped a member to buy raw materials so that she can make traditional weavings to sell.

Dúo Mujeres De Poaquil Group's story

Leidy Yesenia is a member of the communal bank "Dúo Mujeres de Poaquil." She is a 22 year-old native of San José Poaquil who has had a business making traditional hand-woven items for a number of years. Thanks to God and the support of her parents, she has been able to get ahead. She dreams of having a bigger business to improve her quality of life and enable her to support her parents, who have limited resources. She is requesting this loan to buy raw materials so that she can make traditional weavings to sell.
