Damas Unidas Group's story

The “Damas Unidas” (United Ladies) committee came together thanks to one of the member’s initiative. They are currently in the first cycle with 12 members and they say they will put everything of themselves into being able to grow as a group. Nimia is group president and she relates that she formed the group with the hope of being able to help her family providing them with a lifestyle free of privations or limitations. She works in sales; she has a well-stocked grocery store. She relates that she’s just starting out but hopes in future that it will be a great business. She’s requesting the loan to buy flour, sugar, tea, soft-drinks, dairy products and other items to stock her store.
