Angélica María's story

Angélica María, 37, thanks to God stays in business doing machine embroidery on all types of articles of clothing though mostly blouses for women and girls. She delivers between 100 and 150 blouses weekly to the central market in Chimaltenango Department. Thanks to the demand she has she has five employees working for her at home. This is how Angélica is able to meet customer needs and she feels blessed as a small businesswoman to be able to provide employment for these people.

She’s requesting this loan to buy thread and traditional clothes like blouses and fabric that many people who know her request since they know that she travels frequently to markets where the better quality blouses and fabrics are available. In this way she takes advantage of her trips since on the way back from delivering her products she can bring back items to sell to her customers at home.
