A loan of $325 helped to buy perfume and cosmetics.

Lindsay's story

Lindsay, 28, is an enterprising, very hardworking woman. She’s been in a relationship for many years and has two beautiful children. She lives in her own house with her entire family and works hard every day to get ahead and improve her quality of life. Lindsay’s work activity consists in selling shoes in various sizes, styles and colors. She sells well-known brands of merchandise that are known for their quality and excellent styles that women in particular prefer. Her sales are general driven by prior orders places by customers according to their taste. She’s been in this business for more than 8 years and fortunately does well. She works alone and currently complements it with cosmetics sales though on a smaller scale. This is why she wants to increase her capital and develop the cosmetic sales to a larger extent. During the time she’s been working she’s learned much and has strengthened some of the sales techniques she had previously. She’s aware that she has to work hard to attain success in this type of business and she hopes to retain her clientele to continue working until she can open her own shoe and cosmetics store where she can sell more and increase her income. This is her second MFP loan and she’s very grateful for the credit opportunity she’s getting and for the financial backing she needs to continue forward. She commits to make her monthly payments punctually and to continue working very responsibly with her fellow communal bank members. She will use the requested 800 soles to buy larger amounts of merchandise comprising perfume and cosmetics to continue selling and increasing the number of her customers.
