Romuald lives with his wife and children and he and his wife take care of the household expenses. In order to take care of the various family expenses, Romuald has been working as a tailor out of his studio for about a decade. In order to purchase a new and better sewing machine, which would allow him to better serve his clients, Romuald is asking for a loan from ALIDé.

Romuald buys his supplies in his region. With the hope of satisfying his clients, and in order to grow his sales volume and income, Romuald is asking for his fourth loan from ALIDé. This loan will certainly allow him to grow his business and increase his profits. His previous loans were reimbursed.

Romuald est âgé de 40 ans et vit au Bénin. Romuald a fréquenté l’école jusqu’au niveau secondaire. Romuald est marié à une marchande du nom de Christine. Le couple a cinq enfants à leur charge, dont certains scolarisés. Parmi les enfants, quatre sont leurs propres enfants. Romuald vit ensemble avec sa femme et ses enfants et assure ensemble avec sa femme, les charges de la maison. Afin d’assurer les diverses charges de la famille, Romuald mène comme activité depuis une dizaine d’année, la couture dans son atelier. Afin d'acquérir une nouvelle machine à coudre plus performante pouvant lui permettre de mieux servir sa clientèle, Romuald désire acquérir un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Romuald s’approvisionne dans sa région. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Romuald sollicite pour la quatrième fois, un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Ce prêt lui permettra certainement de rehausser le niveau de son activité et de se faire plus de profits. Les premiers prêts ont été bien remboursés.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
