A loan of $1,200 helped to buy chicks and chicken feed.

Gloria Mary's story

Gloria is 51 years old. She lives with her husband, with whom she has three children, 22, 15, and 9 years old. A two-year-old granddaughter also lives with them. Gloria has been raising chickens for more than 30 years. She started out raising gallinas indias, another kind of chicken, but started raising broilers a year ago. Her eldest son helps her take care of the farm. She is requesting a loan to buy chicks and chicken feed. She will also buy wood to repair the chicken coop. This loan will be a great help to Gloria, allowing her to improve the farm's facilities and increase the number of birds she raises. Her dream is to improve her home and to help her younger children continue their studies to that they'll have greater opportunities for success in life.
