A loan of $600 helped to buy drinks and snacks.

Doris's story

Doris is 53 years old and is a very enterprising woman who is not afraid of challenges. She is married and has four children whom she raised and educated and made them benefits to society. She lives in a home of her own along with her husband and one 16 year old granddaughter, who she also raises and educates because her parents work away from the city.

Doris sells drinks in small quantities. A beer company delivery truck from town delivers directly to her store, located in her home. She sells directly to the public, thanks to some tables and chairs that she has where she can tend to her customers in a comfortable atmosphere.

She’s been doing this for 15 years and works together with her husband. She also has other complementary businesses that generate good profits, such as snack sales and balloon sales. She likes what she does and provides quality service to her customers in a very responsible and secure manner. Everything she offers allows her to have good sales and increase the income that she needs in her home. She wants to keep working and expand her establishment in the future.

This will be her fourth loan through MFP and she appreciates those who provide her opportunity through this loan that allows her to continue with her work. She promises to make her payments on time because she doesn’t want to leave a negative impression on the other members of the group, known for being responsible and making payments on time. She will use the 1,500 PEN from this loan to buy drinks and snacks so that she can continue her business and offer more options to her customers.
