A loan of $775 helped to buy organic fertilizer to spread upon her coffee plants.

Reyna's story

Reyna is 35 years old. She lives in her own home with her husband, Leoncio, who is 35 years old and her four dear children, to whom she wants to give a good education so that in the near future they will be men with good prospects. Reyna is a woman who works hard. She does her best every day to give all she can to the members of her family household.

She works in agriculture where she grows coffee on their land. She has been doing this work for 13 years and always does it with much care, and thanks to the fruit produced by the plants, she bought the land to continue farming. The harvest is taken to the collection centers that are located an hour and half from their area where she receives higher prices for the grain.

Reyna needs the support of the financial institution to continue with her work. She’s planned to maintain her plants buying fertilizer to care for her coffee plants which is why she came to the loan association through the MFP institution who makes it easier for low-income people to get ahead. For the good of her work, she hopes to have the same results in order for her crops and her children to get ahead. This is her fourth loan and she is hoping for the support of the lenders in order to be able to carry out her work plans and thereupon she promises to make her payments in a timely way.

She is a trustworthy member of her communal bank who sets an example for the other members. With the 2,000 soles she will buy organic fertilizer to spread upon her plants.
