A loan of $1,575 helped to buy flour, eggs and yeast for her home based bakery.

Cecilia Esther's story

Cecilia began by renting a facility south of the city and later she set up a place in her home for her bakery. Her family had a bakery years ago and this was another reason that she opened a business like this. Currently she has the help of some of her children to make the bread dough and they begin their work at 9:00PM working until 1:00AM. Later at 6:00AM the sales begin and go on until 10:00AM.

Cecilia is a single mother. She has 3 children who are 28, 23 and 20 years old. With the loan she is going to buy flour, eggs, and yeast for the bakery. One of her goals is to improve her house adding rooms to rent for the future.
