Alhayah /ahla Group's story

This group is called Alhayah/Ahla and consists of four members who are all women. All of them are friends from Sana`a, Yemen. The group took a loan of 290,000 YER. Laila is the leader of their group. She is 48 years old, married, has four children and lives in Sana`a, Yemen. Her main business is selling ladies' fabrics, incenses and perfumes. She has been in business for ten years. With years of experience to her credit, she now has a good command of her activity. She is taking a loan of 80,000 YER from AMB and intends to use her loan to better develop her business by purchasing incense and perfumes to increase her profits. Her profits will allow her to help meet her family’s needs. In the future, she would like to have a big center to sell products such as incense, perfumes and different clothes.
