A loan of $1,925 helped to buy young livestock for fattening up and resale.

Kumush's story

Kumush is 64 years old, a widow. To provide the primary source of income, she has been involved in animal husbandry since 1981, having started this business with a sum of 7,000 som. Thanks to Kumush's hard work, today her business contains three dairy cows with offspring, ten sheep, six goats and six horses, and the monthly income amounts to 10,000 som. In order to further develop her business, Kumush requested a loan in the amount of 90,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy young livestock for fattening up and resale. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further increasing domestic livestock quantities and repairing a barn for the livestock.
