A loan of $2,150 helped to buy young livestock for fattening up and resale.

Aimkan's story

Aimkan is 47 years old, married and has three children. To provide the primary source of income, she has been involved in animal husbandry since 1992, having started this business with one cow. Thanks to Aimkan's hard work, today her business contains two dairy cows with offspring and five sheep, and the monthly income amounts to 10,000 som. In order to further develop her business, Aimkan requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy young livestock for fattening up and resale. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further increasing domestic livestock quantities and repairing her house next year.
