Seinepbu's story

Seinepbu is 55 years old, married, and has 4 children.

Seinebpu works as a cook in the canteen of a local school. Since 1996, she has been growing crops and raising livestock as a means of supplementing her salary. She started this business with only 6,000 Kyrgyzstan Som (KGS). Thanks to her persistent hard work, Seinebpu now has 2 dairy cows, 2 calves, 12 sheep and 4 goats. She also has 1.6 hectares of land where she grows corn, clover and wheat. The income Seinebpu has earned has allowed her to pay to send her son to the capital city for his studies.

Seinebpu approached Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan in the amount of 100,000 Kyrgyzstan Som (KGS) to develop her business. She will use the money to purchase young livestock to fatten and re-sell. Seinebpu plans to use the income generated by this loan to re-invest in her business. She wants to buy more cattle in the future.
