The “Las Originales” (The Original Ones) group has three hardworking, enterprising members. One of them is Horacio, 50, who manufactures artisanal footwear. He started as an employee in workshops and then used his severance pay to start a small workshop in 1990 that he’s been investing in and improving. He will use the loan to buy materials like leather, faux leather, glue, etc.

The other members are Darling who has been selling cosmetics for more than three years when she met one of the firm’s promoters in the street and she told her to join and Dayluvy who has been in sales for two years.

El grupo las originales lo conforman tres personas trabajadoras y emprendedoras una de ellos es Horacio de 50 años quien se dedica a la producción de calzado artesanal. El empezó trabajando en los talleres luego con la liquidación puso un pequeño taller en 1990 en cual ha ido invirtiendo y mejorando. El crédito lo utilizara para la compra de materiales cuero, cuerina, pega…etc.

Las otras integrantes son Darling quien se dedica al comercio de cosméticos desde hace más de 3 años cuando en la calle una promotora de esta empresa le dijo que se afiliara; y Dayluvy quien tiene una venta desde hace 2 años.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
