A loan of $1,175 helped to buy cattle to sell.

Carlos Gilberto's story

Carlos is 34 years old. He is married, with four children, and lives with his wife and two of his children in Azacualpa, Santa Bárbara. He has been working in house construction, but has always liked livestock-raising. So five years ago he decided to devote himself to this business, where he buys and sells livestock of varied kinds, such as beef cattle, milk cows and horses.

In his community, this business is profitable, as customers buy them to raise, for butchering and for milk production.

The loan he is requesting is for 23,000 lempiras, with which he is going to buy more cattle for resale. This loan will help him to earn greater income for his family. His goal is to become a producer of high-quality cattle, and this way earn greater income.
