A loan of $525 helped to stock her business with food products, such as staple grains, dairy products, soft drinks, lard, sugar, etc.

Yadira Yamileth's story

Yadira is 28 years old. She is a single mother with one daughter, and lives with her in the municipality of Azacualpa, Santa Bárbara.

Ten years ago, Yadira decided to set up her own business, in order to obtain household income. Here she sells basic household products such as flour, rice, beans, sugar, salt, lard, soft drinks, dairy products, etc.

She has applied to ODEF for this loan of 10,000 lempiras, to further stock her business with basic household products, and earn the necessary income to support her daughter.

With a well-stocked store, she is going to offer better customer service. Her goal is to grow as a small businessperson, and generate income so that she can save and provide her daughter with an education.
