A loan of $5,975 helped a member to buy karanday wood, paint, varnish, and other supplies.

Ñañepytyvomba Group's story

The modest and hardworking women of the Ñañepytyvomba communal bank decided to get involved in this wonderful entrepreneurship, a Fundación Paraguaya loan granted to them, above all to train them so they know how to use these resources.

Presentación is the president of the group. She says she works making and selling handicrafts out of karanday, which is a type of wood. She has done this work for a long time and has good sales because her pieces are highly prized. She's someone who has managed to get ahead and help her family in spite of everything.

She's requesting this loan to buy karanday wood, paint, varnish, and other supplies to be able to continue making her handicrafts and so continue helping her family.
