A loan of $600 helped to buy bricks and cement.

Feliciana's story

Feliciana, 38, is a hard-working woman who lives with her husband Juan, 37, in the house they bought together thanks to their work. The products which Feliciana and Juan have been able to cultivate with much will and enthusiasm have helped them very much in making progress in their lives.

They have been doing cultivation for 14 years and they always rely on the support of laborers who help them with the harvest and weeding of the cacao, coffee and citrus fruit plants.

Thanks to these plants, she has been able to improve her quality of life, since in selling her crops to the distribution centers she makes good earnings because of her good collection.

What she most enjoys about her work is caring for her crops and she feels very happy when she sees them large and leafy. However, her challenge is transporting the heavy sacks from the farm to the distribution centers since they are located an hour from her plot of land.

She will continue to work normally but her priority is to finish the construction of her home, since she is building it from quality construction materials.

This is her fourth loan. She knows she has to make all her payments punctually and she is willing to do so. In her community bank, she is a very supportive and responsible partner. With the loan of 1,500 nuevos soles plus her earnings she will be able to buy bricks and cement.
