Hawa's story

Hawa is 36 years old and lives in Buchanan, married and has three children between the ages of 15 and 21, three of them are in school and live at home. Hawa did not attend school, for the past twenty three years she been selling rubber dishes (bowls, plates, cups etc), she started this business with the sum of five thousand Liberian dollars that she borrowed from her friend. She is requesting a loan to purchase rubber dishes (bowls, plates, cups etc) for her business. She likes her business because a helps her to take care of her family. Her plans is to build her house and become a big businesswoman.
