A loan of $1,000 helped to buy a bull and cattle feed.

Ikrom's story

Ikrom is 36 years old, married, and has 2 children at home.

When Ikrom was still a schoolboy, as the oldest child in his family he was expected to help his father take care of the cattle. Ikrom dreamed of becoming a doctor, but his family's circumstances were such that he couldn't leave for the capital city to enter a medical training institute. Life was tough because his father had become ill, and Ikrom and his mother took charge of raising the cattle themselves. They also established a farm where they grew agricultural products. They worked very hard to feed their big family.

Ikrom is now an experienced stockman and farmer. This is the second time Ikrom has come to IMON International for a loan. He is asking to borrow 1,000 US dollars to purchase a bull and cattle feed.
