Erkingul's story

Erkingul is 43 years old, a widow and raising five children, the youngest of whom is her five-year-old daughter. To provide the primary source of income, Erkingul has been involved in animal husbandry since 1990, having started this business with 20,000 som. Thanks to her hard work, today her business contains one dairy cow with offspring, one horse and 16 sheep. The monthly income from the business amounts to 10,000 som. In order to further develop her business, Erkingul requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy livestock for fattening up. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further increasing domestic livestock quantities for fattening up and resale in order to save money to educate her middle son.
