A loan of $2,100 helped a member to buy animal feed.

Teco Porave Recavo Group's story

“Teco Porave Recavo” means “in search of a better future” in the Guaraní language. This is exactly the reason why these 12 women have joined together. They want to secure a better future for their families, but they want to accomplish this goal without having to deprive them of anything. All of them raise and sell animals such as sheep, pigs, chickens, and other farm creatures. They want to move forward and feel useful so that they can help their families travel a different path in the future.

Teodora is one of the members. She is requesting a loan in order to buy feed for her animals. The animals consume a large amount of balanced feed, so she wants to have more in reserve. Teodora and the other members are grateful to Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva for the opportunity they have received.
