La Fortaleza 2 & 4 Group's story

Ana is one of the members of the La Fortaleza (The Strength) group 2 & 4, located in the town of Hato Mayor, whose economy depends on farming. Their principal economic activities are selling food, clothes, shoes and accessories.

Ana is very excited to receive her ninth loan from Esperanza Internacional, after having paid off her previous loans satisfactorily and thereby haven taken a step toward growing her business. She has had her business for about four years. She is planning to invest her new loan in the purchase of jeans, blouses, shirts, t-shirts and other items such as shoes.

Ana is a single mother of four children, all of whom live with her. She tells us that her most difficult challenge is working hard to provide for her family's well-being. Her favorite activity is to be at home with her children. She will use her benefits to reinvest in her business and to maintain her children. She thanks you for your support.
