A loan of $600 helped to purchase balanced feed for livestock.

Carolina Yacory's story

Carolina is 20 years old and has one child with her partner. She lives in her own house located in the Tambogrande district. She lives in the rural part of the district and does not have basic services (water, electricity, etc.). Tambogrande is an agricultural area with regular commercial movement that is located in the Piura province, more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo. Carolina raises livestock such as sheep, pigs, and poultry. Currently she owns 15 sheep, 12 pigs, and poultry. She will raise and fatten them to later sell at the local market. She also owns a half hectare of land that her father gave her as an inheritance where she plants lemons, which are harvested weekly. Her partner helps her with all of the work she does. Carolina has requested a loan of 1500 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa. She will use the loan to purchase balanced feed for her livestock, which will allow her to continue growing and improve her quality of life.
