Loza Group's story

This group is called Loza and consists of four women who live in Sana`a, Yemen. Afrah is 30 years old (she is the second woman from the right side in the photo). She has four children. She has been a sewer for only one year. She works hard to generate some income and participate in meeting the financial needs of her family.

During her one year of experience with this typical home-based business activity, she has been able to build up a nice clientele, and she has been successfully meeting her clients' orders. She applied for a youth loan of 50,000 YER to buy fabrics for her business.
