Dario Javier's story

Darío is a young single father of 26. He lives with his son in Quinindé, a canton in the province of Esmeraldas, which provides several cities in Ecuador with products such as bananas, cacao, coffee, African palm, as well as forest products.

In addition, commerce is the daily work of a majority of its inhabitants, enabling them to move forward in their lives; even more so, now that the ways to reach this canton have increased.

Darío has worked in his small store for four years. where every day his mother helps him. Seeking to improve his income, Darío approached Fundación Alternativa to request a loan that will help him buy more merchandise to fill his store with a great variety of products.

Darío has the dream of improving living conditions for his mother and his son.
