A loan of $1,775 helped a member to pay school fees for his children.

Moses Barty's Group's story

In the picture are primary school teachers from the small town of Waterloo, in Western Sierra Leone. This group of teachers, like their colleagues in SMT’s other areas of operations, come to apply for loans. With the help of this loan, they can meet certain financial difficulties that their mere salaries cannot let them solve. At the end of each month, they can easily repay the loan using their monthly salaries. Their school’s bursar is directly responsible for doing the repayments on their behalf.

Moses is the featured leader of this group. The 37-year-old is a native of Yele village. He is married to a trader and the couple has five children who are attending primary and secondary schools. Moses has requested this loan in order to pay school fees for his children.

In this group: Moses Barty , Melphina O.r. , Lucy , Isatu Hannah
