Dennis Komba's Group's story

Pictured above are teachers of a primary school in Waterloo, a small town near Freetown, Sierra Leone’s capital city. This group of teachers has come to SMT, a partner of Kiva.org based in Makeni, Northern Sierra Leone, to request a loan of 3,700,000.00 Sierra Leonean Leones for the entire group. With the help of this loan, they will be empowered to meet certain financial constraints that they would not have been able to meet using their monthly salaries.

Dennis is the leader of this group of teachers. The 37-year-old man is a native of Koidu city in Eastern Sierra Leone. He is married to a housewife and the couple has 3 school-going children together. Dennis has requested this loan in order to buy household furniture like chairs, a bed, etc. to furnish his house.

In this group: Dennis Komba, Mrs. Hawanatu, Elizabeth
