Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Lili's story

Lili is from the Khoni district of West Georgia. She is 47 years old, divorced, and lives with her 19-year-old son and 18-year-old daughter. Her son is a serviceman and gets a monthly income.

Lili runs an animal husbandry business. She has three milk cows and two calves. She milks the cows and produces cheese products. The family also has a plot of land where maize and potatoes are grown. Lili sells her agricultural production at the local market. She is very hard-working person, with a great desire to get ahead.

Lili requests a loan to repair her house. The existing house is old and damaged. She will purchase building materials and renovate her house.

Then the living conditions of the family will be improved, and they will be able to spend their evenings after a hard working day in a more comfortable environment. Lili hopes for your help and kindness.
