A loan of $1,400 helped to buy palm nuts.

Séraphin's story

Séraphin is 33 years of age, and lives in Benin. He did not attend school for very long, and is now married to a woman called Madeleine. The couple has four dependent children, some of whom are at school. One of these children is not the couple’s own.

Séraphin lives with his wife and children, and together with his wife ensures that the household expenses are covered. To provide for his family, Séraphin has worked in sewing for about 10 years. He also works selling palm nuts in his region, and buys his supplies in the same region.

In order to satisfy his customers and expand his sales and income, Séraphin has requested his third loan from Alidé. This loan will allow him to increase his business levels and make more profits. His first two loans were successfully repaid.
