Sophal's Group's story

Sophal, 31, residing in a rural area of Thmor Koul district of Battambang province, has two children, both of whom are still in school. To support the family, she has been planting cabbages and cucumbers. She complements her family’s income by selling various kinds of vegetables such as cucumbers, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, long bean and cabbage, etc. Her husband is a motor-taxi driver. Sophal has been growing vegetables and selling them for thirteen years.

Sophal has been with VisionFund for six cycles while the other member has been with VisionFund for two cycles. Now she and her group member are requesting another loan of 600,000KHR and 200,000KHR, respectively.
