A loan of $4,350 helped a member to buy shoes and household items.

Dulce Esperanza Group's story

The “Dulce Esperanza” (Sweet Hope) committee was formed when 19 women from the Mariano Roque Alonso neighborhood joined together. All of the committee members have their independent activities but they also do joint work to help each other get ahead.

María Ángela has a general store where she sells all types of products like clothes, household items, footwear, etc. She says that thanks to the variety she has she can offer her customers a wide selection of products they need and this is why she does very well.

She requests the loan to buy footwear, household items, etc. to continue stocking her store. She thanks Kiva and Fundación Paraguaya for the opportunity they give them.

In this group: Maria Angela, Deisi, Cynthia, Emeteria, Benita, Sofía, Graciela, María, Clotilde, Juana, Ramona, Noelia, Eulalia, Ursulina, Emilce, Esmilse, Concepción, María, Milca
