A loan of $875 helped to buy agricultural supplies and poultry manure.

Eufronia's story

Señora Eufronia is a person of 56 years of age. She is married. She attended primary school. Now she lives in her own house together with her husband, and she has three economic dependents in her care; they are her grandchildren. She works in agricultural production. The products she grows are potatoes, beans, and peas. She plants these crops, especially the potatoes, twice a year on her own plots of land, which are located in the communities of 15 de Octubre and Chuina Pampa in the borough of Tiraque, approximately 65 km from the city of Cochabamba. Señora Eufronia and her husband demonstrate that they are hard-working and responsible people who want to better themselves and increase their agricultural production, and for that purpose they see the need to apply for investment capital for the purchase of agricultural supplies such as seeds and poultry manure, which will permit them to obtain better yields, especially of potatoes, and in this way they will obtain better income, which is going to improve their living conditions.
