Esteban's story

Esteban, who is 58, is a hard-working man. He lives with his nieces and his parents in the house where he was born. He has dedicated a great part of his life to working and caring for his parents, who are elderly. His main income for approximately 45 years has come from caring for bees that produce honey. He has an average of 18 hives of honeycombs, which he cares for daily. "It depends a lot on the space and the quality of attention so that they produce good honey," he comments. All these years of experience helped him to improve his beekeeping techniques. For this reason he has many customers to whom he sells the honey he produces. "The main sales are n the city of Huancayo," he confirms. Now he wants to improve the quality of the honey, and for this he is thinking of buying quality queen bees to achieve his objectives.

He belongs to the communal bank "San Miguel de Huallhua," and this is his 8th loan with MFP. During this time he was able to obtain many benefits, and for that he is grateful for the support of his group, where the people are responsible and united. For this reason, he promises to be punctual in his payments. Esteban will invest the money in the purchase of frames, wax, and ties for beekeeping.
