A loan of $325 helped to buy soft-drinks, water, juice and ingredients to prepare food to sell.

Justa Danira's story

Justa, 41, is married and has three children. She lives in Olanchito, Yoro. She’s been selling snacks like meat turnovers, fried plantain with ground meat, hamburgers, ‘baleadas’ (flour tortilla filled with beans, cheese and others to order), etc. for 13 years. She also sells soft-drinks, water in bags, juice, etc. She has this business located in one of the local secondary school cafeterias; her customers are students. She’s always used profits to stock up on products.

She’s requesting a 6,000 Lempira loan to buy soft-drinks, juice, water and some ingredients to make the food to sell. Her idea is to keep products in stock because demand at the school is quite high. Her goal is to improve her economic situation in order to have a better future.
