A loan of $675 helped to pay for the labor to gather the bean harvest and to weed the coffee farm.

Santos's story

Santos, age 32, lives with his common-law partner. They have four children, and they live in a village in the Olanchito municipality in Yoro. Santos has always farmed. He has been growing his own crops for five years. He grows beans and coffee in an area that is suitable for their production. He sells his production at the local market and at his house. He will use the loan he has requested to pay for the labor to gather the bean harvest and to provide maintenance by weeding the coffee farm. With this investment he wants to get a good production. His goal is to give his children an education and to provide his family with daily support.
