Classic Group's story

Samwel, who is in his early thirties, is married and the father of one child. He has had a genge-duka (or retail shop which sells fruits and vegetables) for the last year, and works from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily to make a good monthly profit.

He is requesting his first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania, which he will use to buy more items to sell to his customers and to pay household expenses. His dream is to one day be able to run a wholesale business.

He will share this loan with his group, which is called "Classic" and has 11 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
