This is Jocelyn, 45, resident of Payatas, Philippines. She is married to Mario and mother to her seven children. She, together with her husband and children, manages their own household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for her everyday expenses.
Jocelyn is a mineral water distributor. What she basically does is buy mineral water in a container from wholesalers and sell it in 5-gallon containers at a profit. Her regular customers on her mineral water are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of Php700 in sales every day.
To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a Php 9,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy more stocks of mineral water to expand her product. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.
Jocelyn dreams to be able to give all her children a good future and high quality education through all her hard work on her business. She also hopes to have a growing network of customers. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and where he can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God he studies.
* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
