Gulya's story

Gulya is a 47-year-old married woman with two children. She works as a teacher at a local school, but for extra income, she has also worked in crop farming and animal husbandry for more than ten years. She started her business with 10,000 som, and thanks to persistent hard work she now owns 15 sheep. Her farming provides her with a monthly income of about 5,000 som.

With the long-term development of her business in mind, Gulya turned to the company Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som. She wants to use this loan to purchase cattle. She want to fatten them and sell their dairy products. Gulya plans to invest the extra income back into her business by purchasing a plot of land.
