A loan of $1,050 helped to buy fertilizer, clean her land and buy cosmetics.

Rosalva's story

Rosalva makes a living sells cosmetics and lotions and also plants corn. She is a single mother and has four children of 12, 11, 8 and 5 years of age. She lives with her mother and all her children are in school.

She began the business due to the need to have an income. She makes her sales by traveling in the nearby villages. She has requested a loan because she needs to invest in agriculture to plant about 1.74 acres of corn. She is an entrepreneurial woman. Her two oldest children and her grow the crops. The loan will be used to buy supplies including fertilizer, to clean her land and also to buy cosmetics to continue her business.

Her dreams are the following: that her children grow up healthy and have all that they need to live, that her children become professionals and help each other mutually to move forward. She also wants to grow the business and increase her corn production.
