A loan of $425 helped to buy soda, juice and fruit.

María Eugenia's story

Maria Eugenia has a business selling water, soda, juice and fruit located in one of the markets in the city of Leon. She has been doing this work for 15 years in order to provide for her family. She has two minor children for whom she is responsible. She leaves the house at 6:30 am, opens her business at 7:00 am and finishes work at 5:00 pm. She does this work from Monday to Saturday, on the same schedule. She began the business as a mobile street vendor, with money from her own savings. The loan that she is requesting through CEPRODEL is to buy soda, juice and fruit to sell to her customers who travel to the different municipalities in the city of Leon, and thereby earn more income and improve the standard of living for herself and her two children, who are 18 and 14 years old. Maria Eugenia's dreams are that her children will achieve professional careers and have their own homes.
