A loan of $400 helped to purchase sacks of fertilizer.

Alicia's story

Gladys is 25 years old and lives with Froi, also 25, in their own home, which is built with wood. They purchased it three years ago and live there with their little son Daniel, who is four years old. They want to provide him with a good future. Gladys and her partner work growing coffee plants. They have been farming their own land for seven years and inherited the plots from family. During the harvest season she gets help from laborers so that they can finish harvesting. They later take the product to the distribution centers for sale, which are located one hour away from the community where she lives. She is well compensated for the sacks of coffee she sells there. However, transporting them is very hard for her, since there aren't very many vehicles in transit in her community and her partner has to carry them up to a certain point, but even that doesn't prevent her from continuing with her work. That is why she always has the financers' support. They give her help so that she can keep her business going.

This is her third loan. Once again, she is grateful for the loan offered and assures that she will make her payments on time. She is an active and responsible member of her communal bank. She will use the 1,000 nuevos soles to purchase fertilizer so that she can maintain her plants properly purified.
