Sokhorn's Group's story

Living in a rural area located in the Moung Ruseey district of Battambang district, Cambodia, Sokhorn is a 49-year-old mother of seven children, three of whom are dependents. To support the family, she has sold rice soup and Chinese noodles in her local area for ten years. She can earn about 34,000 KHR per day from her current business.

Sokhorn has been a member of VisionFund for two cycles while the other members have been with VisionFund from one to two cycles. She has successfully used the past loans to improve her business and family's living condition progressively. Now she is leading her group of three to ask for a loan with VisionFund.
