Honduras
Tela, Atlantida, Honduras / Grocery Store

A loan of $525 helped to buy food products (eggs, basic grains, sugar, and coffee).

Medardo's story

Medardo, age 72, lives with his wife in the Esparta municipality in the Atlántida department. Medardo used to sell bread in an itinerant manner. Through his own effort he managed to establish a small store in his house. He sells beans, rice, eggs, churros, soft drinks, cookies, sugar, and coffee.

He has requested a loan for 10,000 lempiras in order to stock the business. He will buy a greater quantity of merchandise and basic food products.

Medardo is always in good health. He supports and takes good care of his wife. Also, he wants to get more customers and increase his income.
